BREAKING: Obama Announces He’ll Shred the Constitution to Help Muslim Country
In contrast, President Barack Obama has extended a friendly hand to Iran’s regime and is resisting further sanctions against them while secretly negotiating an agreement that could allow them the nuclear arms they so desire.
On top of his threats to veto new Iran sanctions, Obama is also claiming that he doesn’t need congressional approval for the secret agreement he is working on with the Iranian regime.
“Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the White House doesn’t view an agreement with Iran as a treaty that requires Senate approval, but a matter of ‘executive prerogative,'” according to a report from National Review.

To be sure, Obama’s negotiations with Iran wouldn’t be such a big deal if everyone were confident that he would secure a worthy agreement. Sadly, that is not the case.
In fact, it is widely believed that Obama’s negotiations will fail and Iran will ultimately obtain the nuclear weapons they have been after for years.
Hopefully, Congress will press ahead with readying new sanctions against Iran that which could be applied immediately after talks break down, as seems likely.
Furthermore, Congress should also pass legislation directly prohibiting any type of agreement whatsoever with Iran without their direct approval.
