Wow. This World Leader Just Publicly Humiliated Michelle Obama
Budgetary concerns matter to wise leaders, because wise leaders understand that money makes the world go around.
Take for instance Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, a man who sincerely wants to help girls in his country obtain an education — but who realizes that his nation’s budgetary woes make that commendable goal nearly impossible.
Now enter First Lady Michelle Obama, who tried to one up the honorable prime minister last week while in Cambodia by delivering a hope-laden speech about girls’ education that — not surprisingly — lacked any connection to reality.
Even worse, the First Lady met with 10 female Cambodian students and basically promised them a free education, to which PM Hun Sen responded by saying, “Her [Michelle Obama’s] mission is very good, but I suggest the United States should help completely and not play like this.”
He added, “It is just playing around — it is not good.”

“I thought the United States would give scholarships to these students until they complete university, but that’s not [the case],” he said.
Instead, he argued, Michelle Obama came to Cambodia to simply “choose people” to help, after which she “[left] it to the Ministry of Education,” which is already strapped for cash, to pay for it. (H/T IJ Review)
The tragic irony is that our First Lady could have easily paid for it via her “Let Girls Learn Initiative,” which purportedly aspires to help young girls from around the globe obtain an education.
Yet instead she chose to talk the talk, but not walk the walk. And now Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen worries that she’ll go ahead and take credit for the education he himself just funded, because what’s another lie to a liar like First Lady Michelle Obama, you know?
